Purse Bid Procedure

If a mandatory championship contest cannot be negotiated between the parties within the required negotiation period, BXA may order a purse bid. Only registered BXA promoters in good standing may participate.

Boxer names Both verified BXA-licensed boxers
Title and weight division Confirmed by Championship Committee
Minimum bid amount Set by Championship Committee per division
Bid deadline Minimum 15 days notice
Required deposit 20% of bid amount
Purse split Champion receives minimum 45%; challenger minimum 35%; balance promoter
Contest deadline Within 90 days of purse bid
