BXA licenses professional boxers, promoters, officials, managers and event personnel to ensure that all participants meet professional, medical, ethical and regulatory standards. A BXA license is a privilege, not a right.

Boxer License Requirements

•       Full legal name, date of birth, nationality, government ID
•       Professional boxing record and current weight division
•       Medical examination, blood tests, neurological clearance, eye examination
•       Previous suspension history
•       Manager / trainer information and emergency contact
•       Anti-doping consent and consent to BXA rules

Promoter Registration Requirements

•       Company name and legal registration documents
•       Responsible person and event history
•       Financial standing declaration and proof of event production capability
•       Insurance details and commission relationships
•       Anti-corruption declaration and consent to BXA rules

Officials License Categories

•       Referees
•       Judges
•       Supervisors
•       Inspectors / Timekeepers
•       Ringside doctors (where applicable)
•       Anti-doping officers (where applicable)

License Renewal

All BXA licenses are subject to annual renewal. License holders must maintain medical eligibility, good standing and compliance with BXA rules to renew. BXA may decline renewal without cause if the license holder has been subject to disciplinary action.
