The BXA Boxer Welfare Fund is a dedicated support programme for professional boxers who have competed under BXA sanctioning and face genuine hardship during or after their professional careers. BXA exists to serve the sport. Serving the sport means serving the people at the centre of it — the fighters.
The Fund operates independently of sanctioning fees and commercial revenue. It is supported through voluntary contributions, official convention fundraising and a portion of BXA merchandise and licensing income.
What the Fund Covers

How the Fund is Supported

• Third-party donations from boxing industry partners, subject to ethics approval.
How to Apply
A BXA-licensed boxer, or their legal representative, may submit a Boxer Welfare Fund application to the BXA Executive Office. Applications are reviewed by the BXA Medical & Safety Committee and the BXA Ethics & Disciplinary Panel. All applications are treated with full confidentiality. Decisions are communicated in writing within 30 days.
